MADISON, Wis. (CIVIC MEDIA) – The new Department of Government Efficiency has now targeted 16 federal offices across Wisconsin for closure.
At first, the Elon Musk-led agency had published the names of six offices they planned to cancel leases on, or reduce space at. The list has grown.
The following list details the name of the office, its square footage, and the amount of money DOGE said the canceled lease will save taxpayers. That’s all the information DOGE has made available. It doesn’t include how they got those figures, or the status of the employees who work in those buildings.
We broke down the closures by city, and under each city heading, they’re sorted by largest square footage.
