
Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss economic investments in Milwaukee visit
MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) – Vice President Kamala Harris is in Milwaukee Thursday, as part of her nationwide economic opportunity tour. This marks her fourth visit to Wisconsin in 2024 and her eighth visit since taking office.
Harris’s remarks will reportedly highlight the administration’s efforts, spotlighting investments and economic opportunity. The event in Milwaukee comes about a week after President Biden’s visit to Racine County.
During her visit, Harris is expected to participate in a moderated conversation with comedian and radio show host D.L. Hughley. According to TMJ4, Harris is expected to arrive at Discovery World around 12:40 p.m.
The visit comes amid a close race in Wisconsin, with the latest Marquette University Law School poll showing former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden 51% to 49% among likely voters.
