It’s Friday and the weekend, starts here. We start off the show by diving into the complex world of refugees with Gail Cornelius from World Relief, unraveling the challenges faced amid Trump’s restrictive policies and the critical role of community support in Wisconsin. Then, we switch gears to dissect yesterday’s verdict in Judge Hannah Dugan case with Civic Media’s very own, Jim Santelle. After a rapid trial, Dugan has been convicted for obstruction, sparking debate on prosecutorial discretion in the politically charged atmosphere of ICE operations. What’s justice versus spectacle?
