Lancaster overcame a challenge from River Valley in area girls basketball. The Arrows prevailed 69-53 in a Southwest Conference game Thursday, February 5 in Spring Green. 

Sparta won a non-conference game over Richland Center 68-48 in Tuesday, February 3 boys basketball. The game featured a tale of two halves.
