Registration opens this week for Milwaukee youth sports classes

Does your child want to learn how to balance on a gymnastics beam, kick soccer goals or hit tennis balls? 

Registration for sports classes through Milwaukee Recreation, or MKE REC, opens Thursday, Feb. 26.

Classes are open to youths ages 2 to 17 and run from March to May.

Soccer

Mighty Mite Soccer

Children ages 3 and 4 can learn the basics of soccer like dribbling, passing and kicking. Cost is $10 to $12 for residents.

Tumbling teddy bears

This pre-gymnastic program for ages 2½ to 3, helps toddlers develop eye and hand coordination and balance through different tumbling activities. Parents must attend but don’t have to pay. Cost is $23 for residents.
