City of Madison offers trading cards for newly-named snow plows like Sno’diggity and Anne Pathaway
MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – The city Streets Division has a new set of trading cards. They don’t feature athletes; they feature snow plows.

A couple years ago, the Madison Streets Division started holding contests to name some of the city’s snow plows. It’s a way to connect with the community, and give people a look at what city staff do in snowy weather. They got monikers like Dolly Plowton, Seymour Pavement, Saltimus Prime and Snowbi Wan Kenobi.

Last winter, the Streets Division held another contest to name another six snowplows. They ended up being Sno’diggity, Plower to the People, Anne Pathaway, Mike Snowplowski, Princess Sleigha and Snowceratops.

City staff offer trading cards of the snow plows, too. The cards adorned with this year’s newly-named snow plows are now available for people to add to their collections.
The trading cards are at branches of the Madison Public Library. They’re free to anyone who wants them.
