GREEN BAY, Wis (WGBW) – The Festival Foods Fire Over the Fox will bring a fireworks show and celebration to Leicht Memorial Park, the Ray Nitschke Bridge, the Neville Public Museum parking lot, and the City Deck in Green Bay on July 4 at 9:45 p.m.

Thousands are expected to pack the waterfront in downtown Green Bay to celebrate America’s Independence Day. The event is an On Broadway Inc. event in partnership with the City of Green Bay and is sponsored by Festival Foods.

The full-day event begins at 3 p.m. and features numerous family-friendly activities, live music, food and beverage options, and more. It concludes at 9:45 pm with the largest fireworks display in Northeast Wisconsin.

VIP tickets for the fireworks show are now on sale for just $12 each and can be purchased online! Secure your up-close seats now to one of the area’s largest and most brilliant fireworks displays. VIP tickets include a chair in the special viewing area along the river in Leicht Memorial Park. Seats in the VIP seating area are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. One ticket is required per person.

“This event is always a highlight of the summer for the city and On Broadway,” said Brian Johnson, president & CEO of On Broadway, Inc. “We hope the community comes together to enjoy all that downtown and our beautiful waterfront has to offer, while also reflecting on the meaning of this special holiday.”

New this year to the fireworks show

  • Expanded and relocated Kids Area to include a Dunk Tank, Waterslide, inflatables and more, now in Leicht Memorial Park.
  • Sanimax Latin Stage is BACK by demand for another year! This year though, the stage has been moved to accommodate the larger crowds. You’ll find the stage adjacent to the Hampton Inn, at the intersection of Main St and N. Adams St.
  • We’ll be combining two amazing On Broadway events into one, with the addition of the Levitt AMP Green Bay Music Series stage located in the parking lot of the Neville Public Museum. Normally a weekly Sunday series during the summer months, we’ve decided to bring the energy of the Levitt AMP series to Festival Foods Fire Over The Fox fireworks show! This stage will have all original music artists.
  • There is an additional beverage area for event attendees this year! Along with the three beverage tents spread across the event footprint, attendees can stop by the Container Bar located in Leicht Park. Additionally, limited special fireworks tickets are being sold for the rooftop of the Container Bar. More details for the ‘Best View in Leicht’ can be found here.
