Governor Evers Adds Milwaukee Voices to UW Board of Regents
MADISON, Wis. – (Civic Media) – Gov. Tony Evers on Wednesday appointed two Milwaukee-connected citizens to the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents.
Tom Palzewicz, a Brown Deer High School graduate and UW-Milwaukee alumnus, joins the board alongside Noah Fritz, a current UW-Milwaukee student pursuing a degree in actuarial science.

Palzewicz, a business and executive coach, previously worked in risk management for several regional banks and served in the U.S. Navy.
Palzewicz’s seven-year term fills the vacancy left by Regent Héctor Colón and runs through May 2032. Fritz, whose term expires in 2027, will represent student interests as he balances his studies and a career in life insurance.

“We are in a make-or-break moment for our UW System,” Evers said in a statement. The third appointee, Linda Terwilliger, is an educator from Wausau.
