WAUKESHA, Wis. (WAUK) — The city of Waukesha is looking at plans to build a new apartment complex with 219 units right across from city hall.

The project would go up on about 5 acres of city-owned land at 130 Delafield St. It would consist of two four-story buildings with market-rate apartments.

The Waukesha Plan Commission will review the final site plan and building design on Wednesday. If the commission approves it, the proposal will then go to the city’s Common Council for a hearing.

If the plan gets approvals, construction could start late next year.
