MILWAUKEE, Wis (Civic Media) — There’s a lot of political action in the megalopolis Tuesday.  As the DNC continues in Chicago, Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are set for a campaign speech at the Fiserv Forum, while GOP VP candidate JD Vance will be in Kenosha.

CBS 58 reporter AJ Bayatpour reports that the Democratic ticket will speak at the Fiserv Forum early in the evening Tuesday. They plan to remain in Milwaukee at the stadium to view the headline speakers in Chicago, including former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama.

Meanwhile, Republican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance will hold an event at the Kenosha County Courthouse at Noon. The event is billed as a news conference focusing on crime and safety. Vance, who recently received an endorsement from the Milwaukee Police Association, will be joined by local Republican leaders, including U.S. Senate nominee Eric Hovde and Kenosha County Sheriff David Zoerner.
