A man injured in a crash over the weekend has died. Iowa County Sheriff, Michael Peterson reported Wednesday, Darrell Mead Sr., 50 of Lone Rock, died as a result of his injuries sustained in the crash Saturday night. Mead was operating a motorcycle south bound on U.S. Highway 151 when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected. He was foud unconscious in the median suffering from serious injuries. Emergency services performed life saving measures and he was transported to a local hospital and later taken by U.W. Medflight. Again, Darrell Mead Sr., 50 of Lone Rock, has died as a result of his injuries sustained in this crash.
