KENOSHA, Wis. (Civic Media) – If the construction doesn’t slow you down enough, the Wisconsin State Patrol is trying to help calm things down on I-94 in Kenosha County Thursday.

State troopers along with deputies from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department and officers from the Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie, Twin Lakes and University of Wisconsin-Parkside police departments will conduct special traffic enforcement patrols on Thursday.

The high-visibility deployments will focus on stopping motorists who speed, drive distracted, drive impaired or exhibit other risky driving behaviors that can lead to injuries and fatalities on the road.

Crash data analyzed from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Community Maps program is used to pinpoint deployment locations.
