MILWAUKEE (Civic Media) – The Milwaukee Brewers began the home portion of the schedule with a blowout victory over the New York Mets on Monday, winning 10-0.
The Brewers piled up 10 hits, including a home run by Brian Anderson and a grand slam by Brice Turang, in the win.
Freddy Peralta and Bryse Wilson combined for the shutout, allowing just three hits while combining for nine strikeouts.
With the win, Milwaukee improved to 3-1, while New York fell to 3-2. The same two teams meet on Tuesday at 6:40 p.m. at American Family Field.
